1. ALTERNATE NOSTRIL BREATHING. This balances the flow of energy through both the
nostrils, making the mind calm and balanced.
2. SHOULDERSTAND. It strengthens and balances thyroid function. The thyroid regulates the body’s metabolism and heat production, and controls the heart rate. It promotes protein synthesis, and proper growth of the muscle and bone tissues.
3. PLOUGH. Increases flexibility of the neck and the spine. Nourishes the spinal nerves, relieves indigestion ,constipation and helps insomnia.
4. BRIDGE. Strengthens the abdominal and lumbar regions. Regulates the liver and spleen, enhancing digestion of fats, storage and production of glucose.
5. FISH. Increases lung capacity, relieves spasm in the bronchial tubes and relieves asthma. Stimulates pituitary and pineal glands.
